Our "landlady" Mrs. Serafima showed us how to prepare traditional Moldovan "Mameliga", what we know as "Polenta". It is made in a special pot with round shape bottom. Mameliga is one of the most important food in Moldova.

The tractor is not working any more. The horse took it´s place. This happend very often during the last 15 years in Moldovan agriculture

In the beginning of October the farmers are very busy with the harvest of corn an other crops.
